1: Nemo 27 secs
It was a sad dawning to this day - our last full day in paradise! Do we have to go back to real life? Can’t we just stay here? At least for another week?

Once again Gail headed off for her last snorkelling trip, this time to an impressive wreck site about an hour away by boat. This ship grounded on a bank years before and has now become a fantastic dive and snorkelling site. Plenty of beautiful coral and fishes. Unfortunately no Manta Rays were seen, but at least we had seen those in Bora Bora. Ali was the keen photographer, capturing little Nemo’s everywhere!

After a delicious lunch we went home to sit in the sun for a short time before getting ready for our last massage at the Coconut Spa. We nearly skipped there in anticipation and this time we had two new masseuses. Once again our massage room was overlooking the blue waters with the waves crashing on the stones. The massage was glorious and the hot stones completely relaxing and we walked out on clouds of air.

Arriving back at our bungalow we grabbed our bowl of dessert which we had saved from lunch, white chocolate mousse, and sat out on the beach for the remainder of the afternoon. It was lovely! The beach that is, but yeah, the mousse too. The pastry chef, who had taken a liking to Gail, presented her this dish of mousse with a cherry on top tellling her he loved her!!! She was embarrassed but I'm sure flattered, especially as he was gorgeous!!!

Unfortunately we had to drag ourselves away from the beach for the last time and get ready for our dinner with our snorkelling buddies. There were eight of us and we struggled to make great conversation with everyone as our Italian is practically non existent and their English is just as bad. Luckily one chap spoke fairly well and so was the translator for the evening.

After dinner we headed over to reception to settle our account and then home to pack. It was sad having to pack our gear with the thought of leaving to go back home. We’d had such a marvellous time, enjoying the Island and all it had to offer. Before going to bed we set our alarms for our early wake up and departure. How sad!
