food and loos
Since you had a quick ice cream 'to try and cool down in the intense heat and humidity', by my reckoning you will be consuming an awful lot of ice-creams! Well there you go - that's your veggie diet sorted. Am also happy to see the loo situtation continues to be a major feature of your b(l)og. Keep up the good work!!! x

Hot and Humid in Tokyo!
Sounds an interesting city - pity about Mt Fuji though. And people with good manners to boot.

Perth
Hi Llisa, Gail and Lesley Getting close now to you arriving in Perth, and looking forward to having you with us. For some reason, I am unable to find emails that I have sent you, or you to me, confirming everything. So...... Can you confirm when you are actually arriving on Tuesday? if we are at work when you arrive, we will leave the front door key under the door mat so let yourself in and make your way through the house to the family room, turn right through the sliding door and all those rooms are yours to use while you are here. 2 bedrooms - 1 master bedroom and 1 king single bedroom. Our actual address is 201a Salisbury Street, Bedford (if you are taking a taxi from the airport, tell the driver we are one house from the Walter Road end of Salisbury Street). My mobile is 0412 635 740, work 08 9210 9021. I will try sending this information through your blog too. Thanks Liisa. Helen Riseborough Client Account Manager

ladies , i read your article and found it very interesting, you say you took that trip in 2006 and the Rupert was a replacement ferry. I just want to set the record straight a little for you. As my dad would have said, it\'s a ship. And one more thing, The Queen of The North was the replacement ferry for the Rupert. You see my dad and I both worked on the Rupert, my dad in 1969 and myself in 1974. Ah! those were the days to ride the ferries, ya they actually had dining rooms with real food not fast food. Even the ships down south had dining rooms. But anyway getting back to the Rupert, I was a steward working in the dining room, and like you said, there was a mixture of all kinds of people even back then. I can remember serving hippies at one table and really rich folks at another. OH ya, they even had good food for vegetarians back then. Just to let you know you had nothing to worry about, that ship was as safe as anything on water. It was so safe that I would take my old cabin back any time, It was aft (back) just above the starboard (right) propeller shaft. Man did it make a lot of noise. Boy, i\'d give anything to sail the inside passage on the Rupert again, that was one hell of a good job,I really miss it. There are some things that don\'t get better with time, taking a trip, or as you said a mini cruse down the inside passage on the BC ferries is one of them. Ladies, you rode on one of the best ships the BC government will ever own, you see I envy you, you sailed on the best the BC ferries ever had or will have. It\'s just such a shame that you didn\'t have the privilege of sitting in a dining room (which was forward with a view) when you were on your trip. The Queen of Prince Rupert in my mind always was and always will be a grand lady that I had the privilege of working on. And what can you say about the inside passage,a post card view at every window. if you would like to respond i would look forward to it David Evans

Green with Envy
Your mother wishes she had accepted your offer to join you & Gail - so if the sea doesn't rise too much, then maybe next time around! When are the water skiing and Wave-Runners pictures going to be posted - think we'd rather spend money on that rather than on a massage? Take more pictures of the brightly coloured fish. Enjoy what time is left. XXX

Hummmm! Liisa & Gail, yet another round of great pic's. I think you are enjoyin the Maldives better 2nd time around. Loving the sun loungers/surf boards, you both have natural agility not ;-). Gail & Liisa, I have to ask.... Is the sea water a new slimming aid? Cos you to look good! If it is I'm off to Brighty now for a couple of pints.(Brighton). Oh I've been told to tell you Gail that Halle Berry wants her Kini back asap, she's your blog and noticed that you were wearing the heck out of that Bikini, I told her that jealousy is terrible thing and that she needs to get over it........ Let's hope so, she is busy with the baby now. I'm off to Ascot on thursday, I'll be sending pic's via email so check em out. It's a real shame there is an age limit to Miss World....... I'm really glad that you are both having a splendiferous time, can't wait to catch up with you both! Love Pauline XxX :-)

Cowpuccino's may have made a dreadful cocoa, however, their homemade gingersnaps and lattes are great. My husband & I ate them and drank our coffees outside as there were 3 bald eagles in surrounding trees just hanging out. Occasionally they would stretch and move puting on a show for us. I have to agree with things in Cow Bay being fairly pricey or hokey though.

Thanks for Sharing your photos
Your girls had a blast! Once in a lifetime experience. My parents own the Gitksan Paintbrush Gift Shop in Kitwanga. It's funny you can tell a person about B.C. and they just look at you like you're making it up. But, until you actually go.. even your pictures look like they're not real. Only when you get to be there can you truly appreciate GOD"S Paradise. I had alot of pictures of a female Spirit bear and her 2 cubs in my parents front yard. Have you gotten to travel there anymore? I do every year in the summertime. Maybe I'll see you in the Gift shop! Camilla Nail - I live in K.C. Missouri

Swinging Chicks
Well its good to see you both have not lost the art of being grown ups lol. I must say you are both very brave, if someone said they saw a bear in one place, I would be going in the opposite direction. Your pictures say a lot for your bravery, cos they are great. Liisa I want a camera like yours, cos you two look fantastic; Naomi and Claudia move over.... Love Px.

Thanks for the trip!
It has been great accompanying you these past few weeks on your Canadian adventure. The photos are terrific and the commentary interesting. Many memories have been revived---David driving all night to Okanagan soon after we arrived in Calgary for one. I'm off on my adventure to China on Friday. Enjoy the rest of your time. PS This travelblog site is vastly superior to the one you used at Christmas.
