The incredible Petronas Twin Towers at night with the moon in the background A very early morning start today because we wanted to get tickets to the sky bridge of the Petronas towers. We hadn’t slept very well because of all the noise coming from the markets on the street, they don’t go all night but it takes a while for them to pack up their stalls. We got ready and caught the train to the Petronas Towers. We found the queue and lined up for tickets, there were already quite a few people there but we weren’t missing out. Eventually we got our free tickets to go up at 10AM. We left to have some breakfast somewhere in the shopping mall above and returned just before 10. We went into the lift and soon enough we were on the sky bridge. It was amazing, somewhere I’d always wanted to go and I was finally here. Though it wasn’t anywhere near as high as Menara Tower but I thought the views were much better. We could see all of Kuala Lumpur and a great view of the towers themselves from here. I took as many photos as I could, before it was time up for us (each group only had 10 minutes), we went

The Skybridge on the 41st floor of the Petronas Twin Towers back down and had a look through the small museum about the twin towers.
We found out that Kuala Lumpur also had a hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus which stopped right outside the Petronas Towers. We headed outside, took some photos of the towers then got on the sightseeing bus. We drove around to the other side and got off to have a look around the park area, but we ended up in the same place we started. We got some lunch and ate in the gardens behind the twin towers. Soon after we headed back to the sightseeing bus and got on again in the same place. For the rest of the afternoon we sat in bus as it drove around Kuala Lumpur, it was so hot today that we didn’t really want to leave the air conditioned bus. We both fell asleep for a bit and woke up when the bus stopped for 10 minutes so we could go take photos of a palace. We were considering doing two laps but we soon realised that one round trip took almost three hours to complete so we gave up on that idea. We eventually got off and headed back

View of Kuala Lumpur from the Skybridge in the Petronas Twin Towers to the hotel for a rest.
Later that evening we headed out for some dinner at an Italian restaurant down near where all the nightclubs were located. We ate dinner then again walked to the Petronas Towers to get some amazing photos of these incredible buildings at night. They were just beautiful, lit up brightly and standing so tall, the most impressive building I have ever seen. We went inside and got some ice-cream, had a bit more of a look around then went back to the hotel and fell asleep.
