Bus from Luang Prabang to capital. amazing! despite being the capital city, it is till so chilled out here & no traffic whatsover. life moves so slowly in laos, & its really quite a wonderful thing.

french influence even more apparent here (lots of wine being sold, cafe's, patisserie)

interesting replica of arc de triomphe, with a buddhist twang. great night market with gorgeous fresh food, fuish, veggies, fruit juices...& of course the wonderful beer laos...takes so good & real cheap..even i hit the beer for once!

saw some more impressive wats & made friends with numerous monks...although they are much more chilled ouit about religion here..not so bothered about getting close to the women & some novice monks practising swear words in english!! but all very friendly!

amazing sunsets along the river...loving being here. no hassles from anyone.

went biowling...looks like its the thing to do...all the locals hanging out here & again, amazingly friendly. had a wonderful time with many loatians whjo insisted on buying us beer all night & chatting abiout pretty much anything! so welcoming.

went to a very bizarre Buddha Park - lots of strange statues of buddhas & random stuff some guy decided to put together...some to do with hell & heaven...but really wonderful. made for aq fun day & some great pics!

gorgeous food - hot pot soup a favourite...basically make your own soupo with hot pot on small stove in front of us, loads of veggies & yummy stuff. : )

went to more mseums & history stuff, as always.

attempted to find salsa, since it is the capital here, but unfortunately, the only 2 people that do it were not around the days i was there. shame!! but i had a wonderful time here anyway!
