Otaguro Park Sachi managed to find a beautiful park, Otaguro Park in the south of Ogikubo station: Otaguro Park is situated in the quiet residential district, and it offers free entry. The property was once resided in by one of the famous music critics, Mr Motoo Otaguro. From 1933, he lived there and wrote a number of music books and essays. After he died, his family bequeathed a part of his property to Suginami Ward in line with his will. It was decided that his property would be opened as a park. There have been a number of trees – oaks, redwoods, cedars planted, and those trees surround the pond, which had existed since Mr Otaguro’s time. So this is my schedule~ Last week was our "guidance week" or whatevs, so we could pretty much go to whichever classes we wanted to and figure and if we actually wanted to take it or not, but then on Friday I took my registration form to the Arts and Letters office, so it's official, woot~ Aaaaand, I'm pretty sure it'll be like... exactly the same next semester, since all the classes I chose were either full year or were 'A' sections with corresponding 'B' sections second semester. Except for Japanese, because I think the level two people move up to three? But I don't know yet. Apparently we'll register for next semester's Japanese courses later... XD;; (so lost sometimes, oh wait, all the time 8Db) Glugh, I will admit right now... I only really understand ... read more

So I'm finally back in Japan again! Considering it's an entirely different area and my schooling situation is quite different, even two days in it's shaping up to be much different from the last time I was here two years ago, but I'm looking forward to everything and am going to try my best! In case you didn't know beforehand, I'm studying at Meiji University, which is smack-dab in the middle of the Tokyo metropolitan area. The international dorm I'm living in is in Suginami City, about a twenty or so minute train-ride to get to the main campus in Chiyoda City. The flight over was fairly uneventful, thankfully.
