As I promised, here is part 2 of my Japan adventure. This entry will finish off the photos from the Izu peninsula and then I will talk about Kyoto in the 3rd part. This is the entrance from just outside the room.

Windows look out onto the little Zen like pond which we could see from our room

Still walking toward the exit from our room. What an interesting design on the floor.

Just keep walking.

Suddenly the square walls become round like entering a tunnel. Almost at the exit now.

Coming to the end of the tunnel (walkway)

Now the last bit. A carpeted landing

I turned around for a moment and took a picture of the beginning of the tunnel like hallway. That is where we just came from.

Stilling walking, I can see the exit doors now.

Once again I turned around to get a view of the entrance you see upon entering the building itself.

Finally outside. That was the journey we took everyday just to get from the front door to our room. Crazy! but fun!
