The Happy Couple.
The wedding of Sharon and Scott Before the wedding of course came the Stag / Hen night in Kuta.
It had been decided that the hen and stag party would be combined as all the guests had travelled a long way and wanted to stay together.
It began with a meal at La Cabana Restaurant in Kuta. After the meal we all wandered around until we came across a nice quiet bar. Not for long! The barmen looked so bewildered when over 25 people arrived all at once, that Michelle from New Zealand joined in making cocktails! No-one knew who owed what but it all got sorted out somehow.
The day of 'recovery' before the wedding was spent at Dreamland Beach where I nearly got washed away! The sea had turned VERY rough and made it extremly difficult to get out once you were in! I actually only ventured in a couple of times, the first time I was caught by a series of waves as I got close into shore, they pummeled me down repeatedly, I finally emerged completly dishevelled and in a state of half- undress to see Scott racing down the beach to rescue me! I began to think that

Dreamland
Rough sea on Dreamland BeachI wasn't going to actually live long enough to see the wedding! I did venture in once more but knew what to expect this time so kept a closer eye on the wave sets, along with Gary's help.
Monday 5th September.
The day of the wedding had arrived. What can you say about a wedding? Well this one was special!! It turned out to be the Fairy Story Wedding we’d hoped for, the setting at the Bali Hyatt Hotel was perfect and everyone had a wonderful time. Even the reception that was booked as “just a table for 30 in a quiet restaurant” in a nearby bar, turned out brilliant. There was a live singer on who allowed us to use her microphone for speeches and every one else in the restaurant joined in the dancing!
The photos say it all!
