A Day in Jaipur India

A short note about today but nothing really special happened today except it was the first day I was out on the scooter and I did have a good time to be sure. Saw lots of different tourist attractions and took some pictures of which I will up load some of them to this blog with captions. Saw the city palace today and the weapons museum which gave me a sick feeling in my stomach after seeing so many different ways to kill people. Otherwise the palace was quite beautiful. Hope you enjoy the pictures I added to this blog today.

Some kind of fort in the water
Lots of tourist here to take pictures of this fort out in the water.

Sandals for sale near the fort
Beautiful sandals made from real camel leather. Too bad I don't need a pair of these because they were beautiful

Camel ride
Seems some Indian tourist like to take a camel ride when they have the opportunity.

Snake charmer
There is still the snake charmer which this one was just outside the city palace and the cobras are real. Just amazing if you ask me.

A donkey in the street.
This donkey was free also and someone decided to dress him up some by painting some design on him.

Animals everywhere
So many different types of animals live right in the streets with the people and the cars and they are free at least.

Building construction
It always amazes me how the Indians can walk around on bamboo poles like these and construct a tall building. This one was being repaired.

Me with some kids
Some tourist I met from Beijing China took this photo of me with some Indians boys in the middle of the city. Pretty cool tree in the background too. Gave the kids something to climb on and have some fun.

Amazing building in downtown Jaipur
This is certainly a beautiful building so thought I would snap a photo and put it into this blog.

Milk deliver on motorcycle
This is how the milk gets transferred around the city. Good to see some Indians like milk.

Vegetables for sale at the market
It does not look like the Indians lack vegetables to eat because there is quite a good variety here.

Temple in the middle of the city
The Hindu religion has some strange customs concerning their religion. Here one man is praying to a god of some type in this temple.
