A Day at Nahargarh Fort

My day was spent at this fort mostly and it was interesting as far as forts go. They are reminders of past times of defense and war of which I am against.

The view over Jaipur was fantastic and you really get a picture of exactly how big this capital city of Rajasthan is.

Anyway I will try to upload some pictures of this fort and hope you enjoy the photos I select and find them interesting to look at.

Tree in the fort
I do find the trees interesting here on top of this fort.

Kinda liked the painting on the walls of these rooms inside the main castle.

Bathing pool
Guess luxury has to include a pool and this fort had two of them though nobody uses them now for this purpose.

This is the other bathing pool for the rich some centuries ago.

With any defensive structure you must have walls and this castle was no different.

A stunning view of Jaipur
The sight from this fort was pretty amazing and interesting to see what a city of 3.5 million people looks like from on high.
