Jodhpur city
The city is painted blue. It is blue for the Indian God of Shiva a representaition of Brahma Jodhpur! Finally the beginings of the India we were looking for. Jodhpur is a desert town in the northwest of the country. It is dominated by an extremely large fort built in the early fifteenth century. For centuries this city was an extremely important crossroads for traders on the old silk road. Today however it is neglected and left to its own devises. The beautiful fort is surrounded by a city of blue houses. The blue is not only for religous purposes, but it also naturally acts as a bug repellent. (I do not know how). While inside the fort, Jessica had her palm read by the Majharaja's personal astrologer. He was off on some stuff. (Guess my stars wern't aligned). The people were incredibly nice, the city clean, and the weather great.
