Labor Day Holiday in Beijing

We did not know when or how long our Labor Day holiday would be until the day before it came (typical Chinese notification). With much excitement I immediately booked a flight to Beijing where Jay and I would reunite with 3 awesome Americans we met in Yangshuo. We were only there for 3 days, but during those days we ate as much Mexican food as possible,and enjoyed luxuries like rum, tequila, a night life, and foreigners. Then we reluctantly competed with thousands of visiting Chinese to see the Forbidden City.
