Cape AgulhasCape AgulhasCape Agulhas

Made it!
We officially start our trip from Cape Town to Mossel Bay. I ended up starting late and Dave (the mechanic) graciously stays behind so we can ride together. We catch up with the group (Peter, Bob, Bon Bon, Otto, Patrick & Phebe and Bruno & Kris.) on the way out to Hawston. We eventually catch up to John V. making our way to Cape Agulhas, Africa’s southernmost point - prompting the comment from John “Geez, your friends ride fast!”

I get separated from the group during a gas stop and end up visiting the cape and lunching of my own. Fortunately I catch up with the group for the ride into Mossel Bay

People are very friendly here. You can stop and ask for directions and they’re often are curious about our trip.
