Geo: -25.4949, 31.5089August 9-Slow moving day to start but finally up and off on a game drive and a trip into Melalane to get something to add to the braii we have been invited to. We took one of the gravel roads that runs fairly close to the river. Did not see much game and things look very dry. Stopped at the Gardenia Hide where you could get out and look down at the waterhole. Only problem was the waterhole was dry with mud at the center where there possibly were a few drops of water. There was a large group of elephants there and they seem to be very upset with the lack of water. One poor elephant was down near the mud pushing with his feet trying to make some water well up I
