Did another early morning drive on the S28 and got to see elephant, zebra, kudu and wildebeest and two rhino.

While on the S28, did have some other nice sightings as well as a
safari driver doing something inappropriate. There was a very large
elephant very close to the road and people were stopped to let it make
its decision as to what it was going to do. The safari driver came up
very close to the elephant and gunned his engine. The elephant
trumpeted his displeasure, flapped his ears and made a step forward
before moving off. Not cool at all, and things could have gone wrong
in a hurry.

Were heading back to Lower Sabie when there was a jam and we finally got where we could see what was there in the scrub and it was a cheetah on a kill. Seemed very nervous and kept looking around to check for intruders we guess. The place the cheetah was is an area we commonly see leopard so did have a good reason to be nervous.

Back to hut where we packed up to head out toward Skukuza and stopped at Sunset dam for one final check of things and there was a crocodile with an impala in his mouth. Pretty amazing thing to see.

Then another jam and this time it was a leopard in a tree that was almost impossible to see except for the tail and legs. Then two lions down in a gully that were also pretty well hidden but this made this morning another Big Five morning.

Had to leave the park because we were not able to get a campsite anywhere in the park because of the school holidays but are staying in Hazyview which is near to the park.
