Zimbabwe Hockey and Waterpolo tour to South Africa-Johannesburg

In 2010, I was selected to play Hockey and Waterpolo for the Zimbabwe U19 team. The tournaments were held back to back in Johannesburg, South Africa. Sport has been a big part of my life since i can remember.

In the Hockey, Zimbabwe place 2nd over all. First was South Africa, then us(Zimbabwe), then Namibia and last was Botswana. What a tight competition it was, although very enjoyable.

Zimbabwe placed First in the waterpolo competition, beating South Africa only by a few goals. A very tight match the final was.

Team bonding throughout these two tours must have been my highlight. I really enjoy being a team orientated person. I had a blast on both tours 😊
