Here we go again. This time to Bloemfontein. Naively Roger and I assumed England would win everything, unfortunately not the case. We didn't book accommodation taking into account the Team would be runners up in the group. This morning we spent time trying to get somewhere to stay in Bloemfontein, which is about 5 hours drive away from where we currently are. Everywhere is rammed. fortunately one of the guest houses we tried gave us the name of one that she thought had vacancies. Success. We have heard that there is a religious holiday in Bloemfontein on Sunday and beer will not be sold anywhere, They under estimate the English who can find beer like animals find water ha ha

We thought the day would be quiet today, but we managed to come across the Italian Team base, poor loves - they're going home, they're going home and the hotel where the team from Chile were staying, oh yes and a balloon ride over Monte Casino in Jo'Burg.

To eat out here is sooooo cheap. The seafood is unbelievable. Cheaper than Spain and really good quality, The portions are larger than USA and that has been confirmed by an American we met - can't be bad.

Roxanne kept up the popcorn Friday tradition and had a bag of popcorn with a cheese and chive dusting today.

I really enjoyed your photos and post from South Africa! That hot air balloon/soccer ball is so cool! And, I didn't think that anyone served up larger portions than here in the US! That's a lot of food! My blog is looking for travel reviews, photos, unique foods, etc, to share. If you have the time, check it out at dirty-hippies.blogspot.com, or email me at dirtyhippiesblog@gmail.com. Continued fun on your travels! Heather :)
