These crazy zebras knew the lions (there are 3 more being the visible one) were there but decided to challenge him.

The zebra walked right up to the lion somewhat aggressively

We camped here, but got to enjoy drinks at the bar with an amazing view

We didn't see many meetcat colonies, but the ones we did see gave us great joy - we followed them for awhile before they got bored with us and went underground

Look closely and you'll see many of these springbok are 'pronking,' which is springing straight up with an arched back and stiff legs. 'Pronk' comes from the Afrikaans word 'pronken' which means to strut or show off.

We were stopped so many times - couldn't count them. We lost some sausage once, but learned not to travel with meat after that. The vehicle had to roll thru a disinfectant wash, we had to walk thru a foot wash and the vehicle was sprayed down

I don't usually read much of your blogs... They are so interesting but long. But this one really was good. Camping in the bush was really interesting. Pictures were great!
