The blue city, Chefchaouen There are incredible advantages to being in the northeast of Morocco. It is hot, but not nearly as hot as the south. We are near both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. We are close to the Tangier ferry which can take us to Spain (in 35 minutes) and Italy. We are close to the capital of Morocco, Rabat. A group of Asian folks were filming and taking pictures with some very expensive equipment. I thought it was of the locals. I was wrong. The object of their attention was NOT the local people, but the CATS!!!

Unfortunately, the first day we entered the shop, the man inside didn't get off his couch... nor did he speak to us except to answer our "hello's." We thought he looked baked out of his mind...

Now... if you look closely, you will see the hash pipe and all the fixin's for it as well. This time there was another man on the couch, but he was actually smoking said pipe... with gusto!
