Kenya is currently ranked as the 145th nation in the HDI ranking. One of the main causes is Kenya's lack of education. Moreover, women are do not have the privilege to attend school, for it is a culture sense for the women to stay at home. One courageous woman, on the other hand, challenged her nation's principles and decided to attend school. Ntaiya's bold move paid off, for she achieved a high school education and earned a college scholarship to the United States. Her community held a fundraiser to raise money for her airfare, and she promised to return and help the villages a way to show her gratitude. In 2009, she opened the first primary school for girls in her village. Ntaiya has been able to help more than 150 girls receive the education and opportunities that she had to sacrifice so in order to obtain. One of her recent schools has actually ranked top for in her district. I personally believe that Ntalya's outstanding achievement has not only enhance the education of women in Kenya and other countries as well, but Ntalya has actually inspired and gave hope to many young women who do not have the confidence needed to

withstand their education believes. This organization is also raising awareness for other lost souls who do not have the privilege to receive their desired education. All in all, Ntaiya's actions definitely are ones that humanity shall not forget.
