The overland truckThe overland truckThe overland truck

which will be my main form of transport for the next 6 weeks...
So here i am.. back in Nairobi again..

Just went for the overland truck tour briefing.. tour leader seems like a nice person.. treats everyone's problems as her own and tries to do her best to help.. She's never gotten any Indonesian / Singaporean before.. and i told her about my visa problems.. haha.. she's like.. what challenges! but no prob.. we'll sort it out.. so... we'll see..

Will be travelling on the truck down Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia (Which i most probably won't be able to join, cos i'll have to go zimbabwe to do my bots and namibia visa and meet up with them at victoria falls), Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa.. seems like lots of money to spend.. what the hell.. i think i'll just be a little less budget concious from now on.. meaning i won't be so stingy anymore.. just relax.. spend whatever need to be spent to have a good time..

i'm still putting up at nairobi backpackers.. the other tour people seemed to get a free night's stay at a hotel near the departure point.. i'll be joining the rest of the group for dinner and then take a cab back to nairobi backpackers.. tomorrow have to take a cab to the departure point...

the rest of the tour people seem nice.. mostly aussies (heaps of them), kiwis and british.. i'm the only asian..

will try to update blog whenever i can down the journey.. should have quite a few zuobo time.. but as mentioned in the previous post.. the lamu-ness is creeping up.. haha... maybe won't be as longwinded in my blogging as before.. (i think i'm hearing some cheers) haha..

ok.. off to dinner.. and then cabbing back to hostel.. in downtown nairobi now.. have to walk quite a distance back .. and i'm not going to brave the nairobi night =) ciao

Tanzania
I like Tanzania better than Masaai Mara, because you see more games in Tanzania. Don't change Zimbabwe dollars , they are useless. Did You try the game meat restaurant in Nairobi?
