This is a beautiful building built inside cave! It is constructed of olive wood panels - exquisite!

This is the walkway up to the church. The people sitting are mostly very old or are handicapped and are begging.

Many priests are delighted to have their photos taken. The umbrella and cross are ceremonial. It is expected that you will give a donation to the church if you take a photo of the priest.

The church in the cave fascinated me. Did anyone say why they did that....protection from enemies, or maybe from the sun, or sand...hmmm? Is a ferangi like a gringo?
