For my 2009 birthday my mother and I went to Egypt. We arrived on the 6th June in Luxor, where we spent 2 days exploring. We then took a flight via Ciro to Sharam El-Shaykh where we took a taxi to Dahab For 4 days Dahab was our base allowing us to go to Mount Sinai, Petra (in Jordan) and snorkeling at the blue hole! It is a vertical cave about 130m deep, the coral reefs and sea life was amazing

After 4 days in Dahab we did not wat to leave, so the friday night at 11 we took the 9h bus trip to Cairo

We are now on our way to the Giza piramids and we stoped for this snap of the Nile

It lost it's nose when soldiers used to do targert practice on it

It is believed this pyramid was build in the 4th dynasty for King Khufu finishing it in 2560 BC
