For my 2009 birthday my mother and I went to Egypt. We arrived on the 6th June in Luxor, where we spent 2 days exploring. We then took a flight via Ciro to Sharam El-Shaykh where we took a taxi to Dahab For 4 days Dahab was our base allowing us to go to Mount Sinai, Petra (in Jordan) and snorkeling at the blue hole! It stands over 40m high and is carved out of solid rock 100BC - 200AC.

Ti took them 20 years to carve and the purpose are still a mystery. It is believed to be a temple or royal tomb
