After breakfast we headed straight for Lucerne, Switzerland. It was a long, but interesting bus ride, deeply enriched by our tour guide, Andre. As we’ve talked to him more throughout the trip we have been increasingly impressed. He studied at Oxford and the Universtiy of London, among other schools and speaks 9 languages fluently. He used to teach at the London school of economics, where he taught John F. Kennedy. He actually just knows everything about everything! Every sight and every district we come across he is able to discuss with thorough knowledge, interspersing his tours with quotations and readings from interesting and relevant articles he has recently come across.
