Andrew and Ray are travelling for eight months.
June 2007 - cycling from Geneva to Vienna via Lausanne, Luzern, Liechtenstein, Innsbruck, Salzburg and Graz.
July 2007 - staying in Vienna.
August 2007 - cycling from Vienna to Berlin via the Danube, the Limesstrasse, Kassel, Hannover and Dresden.
September 2007 - staying in Berlin.
October 2007 - through Denmark by bike then by boat to England and plane to Channel Islands - visiting friends/family
November 2007 to January 2008 - South Africa for 3 months of visiting friends/family, safaris, hiking, beachcombing and wine tasting.
Last week of January 2008 - Colchester, England, then return to Vancouver.
Final Entry: As we return home we recall the last verse of the last hymn sung at Evensong in the Gothic cathedral in Odense, Denmark our last evening in continental Europe October 10, 2007 before the overnight ship to England. ... read moreReturn to point of arrival in South Africa. We have stayed with nine delightful families, visited another seven, been to five national parks and five nature reserves. The number of kilometres driven in our car was 10,000 which took us to each of South Africa's nine provinces. An exceptionally rainy week in Jo'burg from our Friday arrival to Thursday departure. A charming and respected amateur meterologist by the name of Angus said that he had measured the most rain for any month in 20 years since he began his hobby (by the 24th of the month).
