| Planing a 7 - 8 day trip to Switzerland in March by train...Do I have to much in my itinerary or is it just fine for 7- 8 days? | |||||||||||||||||||||
Nightcrawler32 Jacques Post Count: 13 Msg: #1 343 days ago, December 15th 2008 | I am planing a trip to Switzerland for 7 to 8 days, and would like to know how far or dificult is it to travel from one town to the other. We plan on doing it by train. Places we want to visit are: Zurich, Lucern, Bern, Interlaken, Jungfraujoch, St. Moritz, Lugano, Riederalp, Zermatt, Chillon and Gruyeres.....perhaps even Geneva. I'm including a trip on the Glacier Express. This is for March. So my question is.....is 7 - 8 days enough time to travel to all these places or are we stuffing to many places for the time available? Also, if you know of any other interesting places to visit please let us know. Maybe you could make a loose itinery of things of interest in your choosen locatiions. But as Mell said, you should better pick a few places and in case you don't like one of them, visit another one on the list.
