Planing a 7 - 8 day trip to Switzerland in March by train...Do I have to much in my itinerary or is it just fine for 7- 8 days?
I am planing a trip to Switzerland for 7 to 8 days, and would like to know how far or dificult is it to travel from one town to the other. We plan on doing it by train. Places we want to visit are: Zurich, Lucern, Bern, Interlaken, Jungfraujoch, St. Moritz, Lugano, Riederalp, Zermatt, Chillon and Gruyeres.....perhaps even Geneva. I'm including a trip on the Glacier Express. This is for March. So my question is.....is 7 - 8 days enough time to travel to all these places or are we stuffing to many places for the time available? Also, if you know of any other interesting places to visit please let us know. Thanks!
Reply to this Hello Jacques 😊
I dont think you really need an itinery. Just choose 2 locations and spend 3 or 4 night in each. Maybe you could make a loose itinery of things of interest in your choosen locatiions.

Reply to this It depends on how will you manage your time and what are your plans. It isn't impossible to see all those places. But as Mell said, you should better pick a few places and in case you don't like one of them, visit another one on the list. It's that simple.

Reply to this Thank you both for replying and offering these ideas. I think I will do that and spend 3 or 4 days in 2 locations. So do you know of any good places that should be seen? I'm also wondering if it would be easy to find hotels around Switzerland in mid March.
Reply to this i think 7-8 days is enough time , also can do more if pocket and time permits, many beautiful places to see in switzerland. even one can enjoy complete month in swiss 😊
