Which airport in Europe (outside Greece) offers the best connectivity to Kefalonia?
I'm in the midst of planning a trip to the beautiful island of Kefalonia in Greece, and I'm trying to figure out the best airport in Europe (outside of Greece) for connecting flights (as there are no direct flights from Goteborg where I'm living).
I've read that airports like London Gatwick, Rome Fiumicino, and Frankfurt offer seasonal flights to Kefalonia, but I'm not sure which one provides the best connectivity, both in terms of flight frequency and convenience of transfers.
Has anyone had any experiences or insights they'd like to share? Which European airport do you think offers the best flights to Kefalonia.
Reply to this Exciting plans for Kefalonia! From my experience, Frankfurt tends to have excellent connectivity and frequent flights to various destinations, providing convenient transfer options. However, personal preferences may vary. I'd recommend checking the current schedules and reviews for each airport to make an informed decision but wait I think I'm late on this.
