HI ALL,
I am planning to visit Switzerland between 12 and 21st may. We have 8 days 9 nights.
Is it going to be too cold in may. I am traveling with 4 senior citizen and a child ( 4 yr old).
We are planning to hire an apartment at interlaken for 6 days. Can you suggest a good and not too expensive apartment. It should not be too far from the local transport ( Train).
We are planning to visit Ballenberg Open-air Museum, Mt. Jungfrau Joch,Lucerne - Swiss Transport Museum, the new IMAX Theatre or the Lion Monument, Mt. Titlis
last 2 days we are planning to stay at zuric and visit Rhine Falls –Zurich.
is there anything that i need to add or delete from my itinerary. Is it ok if i keep interlaken as my base.
someone advised me to skip Mt. Titlis is i am going to Mt. Jungfrau Joch.
can someone help me with this.

Reply to this Hi Jeni,
Sounds like you are going to have a great trip. In May it should be warmer then you think.
For an apartment try looking at <snip> they have the widest selection of accommodations I have found.
Now for thinks like the transportation museum, Jungfrau, Mt. Titlus and such. What you want to do is get a Swiss Pass ( <snip> ) The Swiss Pass get you free admission to all sorts of stuff including the Swiss Transport museum, plus free admission to the lake boats, Swis Post buses and more. It is the best travel deal in Europe.
Have fun.
Bill
