Hola Hola!!!!! Well, I have officially been in Europe for a week and two days and aside from hauling my two gigantic suitcases around 2 countries and 4 airports, everything has been absolutely phenomenal!!!! First was London with Francie which could not have been more fun!!! Had delicious, delicious food including tapas and sangria, curry in brick lane, the best bratwurst I've ever had (besides yours of course, Dad) and some amazing Lebanese food. Froak was an amazing tour guide and showed me such cool places that are off the mainstream -- aside from Tiger Tiger, a club in central London which we were in for 7 hours hahaha. Mallorca mei 2010 Vrijdag 21 mei. We vertrekken om 21:15 ( half uur te laat ) naar Mallorca met Transavia. Na een goede vlucht van bijna 2 uur worden we op de luchthaven met een busje naar de autoverhuur gebracht. Met behulp van de TomTom zijn we iets na 24:00 uur in het hotel op El Arenal, Hotel Manaus aangekomen. Een mooi hotel, wel wat gehorig, veel ouderen. We zijn gelijk gaan slapen. Zaterdag 22 mei Toch om 8:00 op. Ontbijt was oké. We gaan rijden richting Santanyí, het oosten van Mallorca. De eerste stop is Puis de Randa. De enige Tafelberg van Mallorca is 542 meter. So der Vollständigkeit halber noch mein kleiner Tripreport aus Palma, zugleich mein Erster Besuch auf dieser Insel überhaupt, dass es 2 Wochen später gleich wieder Richtung Balearen geht, war reiner Zufall ;-) Hintergrund ist ein kleines Familientreffen, da meine Mum eine Finka irgendwie ergattert hatte. So eine Einladung lässt man sich natürlich nicht entgehen. Die große Frage war nur: wie komme ich günstig nach PMI? Irgendwie hatte ich bei der ersten Preis-Such-Runde immer das Gefühl, die Preise liegen weit über dem normalen Durchschnitt. Durch etwas Glück, hatte sich das Problem selbst gelöst, den AB Hinflug gab's von Exepdia zu einem New York Flug geschenkt und dank der Nikolausaktion wurde der Rückflug für 30€ verkauft. After the week with Peter Pan we went scuba diving in Santa Ponsa, and I run out of air!... it never happened before and it was quite interesting: after a year and a half of no diving, I was quite excited and my mask was leaking water all the time, so I wasn't very comfortable, so the result was that after about half an hour, I had to breathe through the instructor's emergency regulator for the last 10 mins!! Finca Es Castell One month ago, I could not picture myself on a holiday in Mallorca. When I thought of Mallorca I imagined parties as long as the night would last and baking in the sun on a beach which had more tourists on it than space allowed. Absolutely not what I was looking for, yet, we ended up spending our holidays on the Balearic Islands. I have the characteristic requiring to know everything before making any big decision, or spend a reasonable amount of money; with for example, my holidays. We were looking for a relaxing holiday, in which experiencing culture and comfort would be the main focus.
