I am a student in my final year at university and I am doing my dissertation on the impact user generated sites have on tourist decision-making for beach holiday destinations with a particular focus on benidorm, so I am hoping that some of you can help me with some of my questions if possible.
what I would like to ask to anybody who has been to benidorm on more than one occasion is what are the reasons as to why you continue to holiday in benidorm? and what do you do whilst you are out there? eg sight seeing, relaxing on the beach etc.
another question is if you have ever seen the tv series benidorm? if so has this had a impact on your decision to holiday in this area and if so why?
a final aim of mine is to look at the ways in which the media has portrayed benidorm as a tourist destination, and how the user generated sites like trip advisor are to represent a role in tourist decision making. what i would be interested in knowing is if you have read a negative report made by a past customer in benidorm would this affect your decision to holiday there based on the information you have read,, and vice versa with positive comments made.
it would be greatly appreciated if anyone could help me with my questions to help with my study.
