Tim Version: * Carnaval - everything it is cranked up to be! Mad parties all the time, dancing everywhere, huge Blockos, music all the time, muggings and pickpocketing everywhere, and a beer vendor never more than 10 metres from you. * I think I killed my liver... * Ventured to the local Salvador beaches, including an island beach. Tim Version: * Traveled Saõ Paulo to Salvador by bus, heck of a bus ride! * Listened to a whole lot of Portuguese and learnt to live on a bus. The 32 hour bus ride version: Rocking up in Saõ Paulo the airport, at least where we arrived, was a little old and decaying. Tim Version: * Found Mexico City in the centre to be really beautiful and good fun. The outskirts, poor sad areas with little to no infrastructure. * Met up with Lyenet and had a wicked time at a local party of hers. * Saw amongst other things the temple of the Sun and the Moon!
