So lost, got ripped off and hopped on a taxi to find the bus to Tirana! Once on the bus it was all easy, dropped right off at the train station and I just took the bigest road I saw until I got to the big Scanderbeg Square. kinda walked through and when I thought I was lost, the hostel staff found me and pointed me to the hostel, which was right across the road!!!!! Had some time before checkin, so walked around the city. Its like all the other Balkans capital.......lots of cars...people...dusty. but, houses here are very colourful!!! and they love to sell old shoes.....you got this ... read more

Walked all the way to the post office and the man saw them and insisted on mailing them in one box! argh. They dont fit in the medium box, so I got the large one, walked all the way back to the hostel, pack as much as I can in and walked all that way back and guess what? That post office ran out of the surface mail sheets!!!!!! Airmail was only 10Euros more..but still..10 Euros...... So, I had to walk down further to another post office to get it sent out!!! I mean...she did all the reception stuff, but the place seems like a place for people to stay long....so there are signs saying "Tourist not allowed to use Kitchen" and It was freeezing at night and they don't have any blankets.....I jad to double fold my sheets, the bed cover and use my snowbaording jacket, then wear another jacket to sleep to keep warm!!!!!!! __ Anyways, They dont even have a map, and I found a travel book of venice at the hostel someone left behind, so decided to go to Venice for the day instead. headed out early, took me half an ... read more

Spent a whole day in Europe's 3rd smallest country, Liechtenstein. It's basically an Austria County to begin with, and somehow over the years, gain independence. However, the Money and postal system is same as Switz and the Language is basically, German. The Size of this country is like...less than half of NT in Hong Kong!! but here even less land coz mostly dominated by mountains!! Its more like a small city by the Rhine River Valley.... Anyways, took the bus straight to the capital - Vaduz. They didn't doany border check, They only have a border set with Austria but they basically don't check it! except maybe some trucks and cars... So, first thing, tothe tourist office, for a map and an Entry Stamp!! haaaaaa!!! Had to pay to get it stamped, but its ok, at ... read more

Innsbruck is a very beautiful town with the moutain backdrop. but, that's about it. Maybe coz I didn't get up to the mountains here, which is a pity. It was Sunday, so everything was closed basically. The big sights promoted weren't really big, so.......I guess I dunno this city well enough to say anything. Left the lakes and arrived in the Tyrol region of Austria! decided to stay near the border of Liechtenstein, in a town called Feldkirch coz the hostel was cheaper! haaaaa! On the train ride there, the sky was beautiful and the mountains and villages were very nice to look at. Then, went through a tunnel for about 5 mins, came back out and FOGFOGFOG! Visibility level became 100metres!!!! OMG.......and the whole evening was glooomy. Anyways, arrived late and everything was closed.....then found out the Night museum tour was tonight! one price for all museums and free bus rides!!! I HATE RAINRAINRAINRAINRAINRAIN! ok, not the Korean singer nor the HK popstar... Was just planning to stay in Hallstatt, but since the weather was so bad, decided to go run through two lakes instead. Hallstatt, is this VERY TINY village that is listed in UNESCO....for its beauty? for, I got there, the train station is on the other side of the lake so I had to take a boat across. It was deserted! which was nice and peaceful but the rain really made the scenery not so nice... There are a few churches there, small and cute..haaa! The lake was beautiful, just the fog and rain covered the mountains at the back...." Anyways, walked around, nothing was opened...the coolest part of the village is the Beinhaus..the bonehouse. Its in the cemetery and its actually a grave ... read more
