Arrived in Leiria and Met Magda and her friends!! They were all so nice!!!! She drove around the outskirts of the city where she lives, very nice countryside!!! Woke up so damn early to catch a late ate flight to Porto!!! Had to repack my backpack and everything coz taking that Ryanair flight.... and wah...after that still 17kg!!!!!! at the end ended up with 15.5 kg..passed! haaaaaa but my handluggage was so heavy!! haa..thank god they didnt check that... The plane was delayed for almost 1.5 hours!!!!! coz it was foggy in Madrid this morning... anyways, got to Porto....and its raining!!! and I threw my broken umbrella away to lighten my backpack!!! Went to Toledo today with my host and a bunch of other people on CS!!! It was such a nice group! got a very nice guide to guide us around the town. Toledo was the old capital of Spain so there are many nice old buildings and a castle! It was larger than I think and walking around it took a long time! The Sinagoga was very beautiful with a lot of history, the Cathedral was huge and beautiful from the outside BUT, didnt like the idea of paying 8 euros to get in..HAAAA...so I didnt. So arrived in Madrid and met my host Gaby! She was so nice!!! We went out to eat Chinese food...(ok...it wasnt THAT bad....haaaa) Then she took me out to see the nightlife of Madrid. Unfortunately, it was holiday the next night so people decided NOTto go out!! araghhhh....the night was so dead.........but it was nice seeing Madrid under the luminations and in the dark..haaaa. then the next day I walked around the city. Murcia is a small.....cozy little city!! So I arrived and met Francesca! such a nice student there! Had a movie night, the next day, her flatmate Rebecca took me around the city. There is a nice cathedral and a few nice squares, the sun was shining brightly and the weatehr was very warm! felt really nice just walking around!!! ARGH... ok, start off, very nice, arrived in the morning, went to my hostel easily and settled down a bit, I doubled check my time on the internet for the Alhambra, then went off around the city. Walked around the Catholic quarter, the latin quarter, then the Arabic quarter... didnt seem as big as the map! haaa....t was very nice, reminded me a lot of Morocco...coz there are lots of North African here... Spend the whole morning walking around Barcelona and all other stuff I didnt see... First joined the free walking tour.....it was short..quite informative, but not that interesting.....the gothic quarter wasnt that interesting itself anyways...haaaaaa! Then went to the fountain..the magic fountain....BUT NO WATER!!! argh!! such a beautiful day but no water......such a waste of the fountain!!!!!! Went to Barcelona.... The direct night train hotel from Paris was so freakin expensive even with a railpass!!!!!!!! so I actually took a night train to a border city then another high speed train down to Barcelona....and cost only 15% of the hotel train...haaaa!!! Barcelona = Gaudi!!!! without him Barcelona will not be the same!!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS CITY!!!! just by first sight...I remember Sevilla was beautiful and I loved it..I did think Northern Spain wouldnt be as nice but NO!!!!! So, took the train, nice and fast and got to Luxembourg where I met Ombeline, a very nice CS host! Anyways, got to her place and it was late and the next day there is a tour back to Riems in France!!! The tour was free haaa!! organized by her bank!! so nice!!!! Riems is very famous for Champange and a nice cathedral.......some other nice mornuments...... We toured the Piper Heidsieck Champange factory....and WOW...its like Disneyland!!!! they had this little train cart thing that took us on tour to this HISTORY of champange making.... of course, lots of advertising as well...HAAAAA!!! Today mainly walked around St Malo small old town but very nice! The view was amazing!! the sea, the tides, the islands, the fortress walls.....very beautiful even though it was cold and windy!!! Inside town there is a nice cathedral with some nice stained glass windows...esp liked the yellow set...haaa! it didnt take too long to see the town and other times...i got myself started on Greys Ananomy......so not good....haaa!
