Wah!Wah!Wah!

one of the mask I bought! haaa....only one store sold them and this guy made them all by himself..! It was cheap as well...kind of..haaa=)
yesterday spent the whole day travelling to Verona. Checked into a female hostel. Was expecting sth warmer, then a cool bucket of water pour over my head. The lady at the reception was...COLD.. I mean...she did all the reception stuff, but the place seems like a place for people to stay long....so there are signs saying "Tourist not allowed to use Kitchen" and It was freeezing at night and they don't have any blankets.....I jad to double fold my sheets, the bed cover and use my snowbaording jacket, then wear another jacket to sleep to keep warm!!!!!!! >__<

Anyways, They dont even have a map, and I found a travel book of venice at the hostel someone left behind, so decided to go to Venice for the day instead.
headed out early, took me half an hour to find the bus to go to the train station. (from the station to the hostel, I only took the right bus, but had to ask my way to get off the right stop and find the street...)
Anyways, got to Venice and WOWOWOWOW. It is beautiful. Despite all the tourist there still, it was beautiful, reminded me of Greece and Turkey somehow.
Only got a day so decided to skip all the museums, they were all these art that I wasnt too interested in anyways. No cars in Venice, so they have boat transportation and boat taxis! haaa....Got to San Marco, the big tourist place.
Piazzia San Marco...is the place where the evil Piegons outnumber the tourist in summer!!! and OMG!!! Walking through that plaza scared the shit out of me!!!....
The place was nice....the lineup to get into the Basilica was LOOOOONG! So, decided to skip it and go into other churches instead. Walked to SS Giovanni and Paolo...Nice big church there...
Went back down to the Accademia area....got a few more churches there..haa!
Many churches in Venice (Italy as a whole) and surprisingly, many of them have different style!! They dont look the same!!!!!!

The streeets were nice and narrow.....very nice to walk around...
and it was nice to window shop coz here, those masks are the big tourist handcraft thing and they are SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I loved them!!! but many were either too big to mail back...and too expensive for my budget as well...I ended up buying 2...but still.....so tempted to go get those 90+euros ones....haaa!!! So beautiful! though, I know I wont have anywhere to hang them back home...=(

Wanted to go off to the smaller islands to take some nice photos, but didnt want to get back to Verona too late..so decided to come back instead. Might spend the morning in Verona tomorrow then go back there to go to the Islands.......humm..
