So, today, spent the whole day in Antwerp! Started out late again....(so love to sleep-in!!!^-^) So started off with the Diamond museum! I didn't know Belgium was famous for cutting diamonds and being the trade centre for diamonds in Europe! It was interesting to know about the history and how diamonds are formed and so on... they had this audio guide with..TOO much info!!! holy...felt like going on 2 lectures of diamond history! haaaaa.... This morning slept in very late!!! Their beer here is surely GOOOD for me to sleep! and just learnt from a beer tour that they do add in these flower things and they actually help you sleep! Anyways, it was raining in Antwerp and its Monday as well, most museums are closed, so decided to take the train to Bruges instead. It was a quick ride and got there with better weather ne! Finally in Belgium! The train ride as very interesting. Arrived in Århus......got into a nice hostel...but the people there were.....-__-" Either they are in groups not in my dorm and never in the hostel, or...have a few weird guys in my dorm room........-__-" Anyways, Århus seems to be a very nice town with a very very vibrant night life... My hostel is right behind the bar and cafe street along this river..and wow! so much reminded me of Ljubljana! with people just crowded along the river eating and drinking at night....! Copenhagen is a nice city.....many people....the difference so far from Sweden is, more people smoke, and more garbage, and heavy bike traffic!! The similarities...weather, prices, people...and..spitting!...-__-" Walked around the city with Amanda, the Australian girl at the hostel. We walked around the Nørrebro...area...and inside the city a bit. explored a few supermarkets....and window shopped. haaa! She was actually looking for boots and accidentially. Sad to leave Gothenburg!! getting so used to having things easily arranged and being lazy......being back on the road seems 10x more exhausting! Anyways, took the train to Copenhagen....nice train! and damn. Saw trains going to Oslo at the train station! The website is so not good.......blah. Anyways, arrived in the afternoon and first thing, call up the hostels for rooms... Went to the tourist info hoping they can help..but the queue was SO LONG... so just went to payphones and call. Today, was pretty lazy and didn't walk out till like 11! haa...headed to the tourist info centre to get some information about day trips....all the basic sightseeing places were all CLOSED FOR THE SEASON....WTH.....>_< So, I am left with these outlying Islands around Gothenburg. Got a day travel pass and headed up towards the Northern Archipelago, an Island called Ockero.. It was a LONG tram and bus ride....got there. and really...nothing much. a small town there...loads of kids riding their bikes around....a nice fishing port... Had to wake up early to meet the car parking time limit! So was actually still a little tired....=__= The weather was better today...didn't seem to be raining when we walked out. So, got to the car and he drove up to this Island called..Marstrand? sth like that. Very beautiful little Island..so laid back! Today's plan is to go out into the country, basically Jon's hometown..where they have a farm! ying ne. We missed the train..(I couldnt use my Eurail pass!!! argh!!!!) so we had to take the bus..(well..wasn't expensive...haaa..) Got to Boras....and there, his sister met us and drove us to the country...into this...village...... So, along the road..its trees...grass...trees..more grass...cows....horses...more horses.. that's basically it...haaa! nice and peaceful though. Got there and wow!...basically his whole family was there...haaa.....so weird visiting peoples' families.....haven't done it in years besides Susu's family....which is only her Dad... So, bright new day in Gothenburg and its RAINING AGAIN!!!!!argh... our first plan was to walk around the city and then go to Liseberg Amusement park!! ahh... Anyways, the morning wasn't bad to begin as I had this very nice breakfast! (haa..I would never really arrange breakfast at home with bread and cereal at the same time...!)
