Good day/morning Brad and I are hanging out in the hotel lobby getting a late start to the day. We had a very long 700 plus km ride yesterday. That isn't anything to long, but with 6 toll booths, winding high mountains, rock avalanches, fuel stations and a intense ride through Mexico city we are a little tardy getting on the road this morning. Hello All, Were settled in a nice hotel in Chihuahua, named after the dog or vica versa. We've had a long couple of days. We brought our bikes into Edge Kawasaki yesterday for a tune up and and service. We were taken care of very well by George the "Flying Taco". Today saw us rise bright eyed and rested in the town of Cortez , Colorado. We left the motel at 6:30am and decided to blast off right away which served us well. We hit the New Mexico border just as the sun was rising and cruised right into the Navajo reservation. The view was incredible, the crowning jewel being ship's rock, a Massive pillar of stone. When we left Ogden Utah this morning we were treated to 4 lanes of rush hour heading South. They do it up in style here and we settled into the HOV lane at 130 KPH . Lots of cars moving past us in the fast lane to our right but these guys are the most courteous drivers. They actually move out of the way and get the same treatment in return. What a concept. Click here to find out where the Reynolds are now? Good day all, Just rolled into Ogden just outside of Salt lake city. We left Abbotsford yesterday at 10:30 am and have put alot of miles behind us. We had a bit of a pokey start yesterday but made up for it. Had a great send off meal with the Clarke's and Bushmans Sunday night, tweaked our gear and set off. My Dad (Ray), Brother (Brad) and I are heading to Central America on KLR 650 motorcycles. We will leave from Abbotsford. This will be a 15,000 km trip full of adventure, long days and new places. There is no schedule, just a route and about 40 +days to play with.
