I had an airbed that leaked so not the most succesfull kip ever and then i was woken up by Rains friend getting up and so i was up at 8am...ouchhhh, i got up and Rain said to help myself to breakfast and then we watched cartoons on her computer such as American dad which is quite funny.............lmao. We chatted and watched cartoons for a while and then Rain's dad came over and we got introduced and then we headed out and Rains dad drove and we visted the old state capitol building and then norhtport which has been regenerated into a hip arty kinda of strip with cool eatries. So i woke up three times this morning, firstly at 7.30 am and then 8.20 am and finally i got up completely at 9.30am and i then set about washing some of my stuff and showering and shaving and trying to make myself half normal. i then jumped on to the net and checked my email etc and later on Terry got up (Jessica had already left for the day earlier), so terry is from Jordan although he has a full on American accent and so you wouldn't think he had only been here since 2005. I got at 8am as i was distracted by Andi's alarm in the other room and i got showered and got my gear together and said goodbye to Andi and said my goodbyes to Myron and the two Dave's, by around 9am i got my stuff together including the pack lunch Andi had made for me and headed for the bus stop and i got the bus to main street and walked over to main street station. The first train was due in at 10.27 am to Dc and was an hour late i then proceeded to get on the Amtrak train and my rucksack got caught on me and the door and i lost one of my set of traveling beads as it snagged and burst. So day two in Richmond although the first day was mainly spent on buses, so a day and a half .....lol, so Me and Andi got up and eventually her housemates Dave and Myron surfaced and we hung out in the kitchen talking and eating candy and then one of Andi's friends Josh came over and we decided to get breakfast al a local dinner in Richmond, Me and Andi went in Josh's beat up Volvo, although it works which is more than can be said of Andi's beetle and Myron and Dave followed in Myrons car. Rather than be lagging behind on my blog i have decided to stick the 2nd and 3rd Jan into one entry, hence the title two for the price of one. Me and HB woke up at 6.40 am ouchhh, we got ready and watched Tv and then caught the light rail and then Hoboken terminal was mobbed and so i could easily tell what its like when people are bustling to get to work and the subway was the same. Eventually HB had to head of to Lexington and i had to head to port terminal bus station to go to DC, we said our goodbyes and said to keep in touch, HB was a really nice guy, very warm and considerate and i was pleased id spent my time in NYC with him.
