So i got up this morning just after eight and was a little comatose at first and i spoke to Brian an american guy i met when i first turned up at the hostel and well this traveling has sent my dates and times right of the radar and so it turns out today is the 19th and i get my shuttle from Playa Del Carmen tomorrow and its an early start and the buses could be a risk and so i decided to head to Playa Del Carmen for one night there and Brian suggested the Hostel Playa as a cheap place and it was in the lonely planet guide and so i got some brekkie and checked out and ditched my stuff in the luggage room and decided after speaking to a few folk ... read more

So after i signed off my blog yesterday my girlfriend came online and we chatted on MSN and then i needed to nip to the bathroom so i told her id be back in 10 mins and we could skype. So i nipped back to the same internet cafe and the time was 5.30pm and so i skyped with my girlfriend and it was good to talk to her although i did not feel that much better after, i suppose stuff can happen to rock the boat. So after finishing up n the internet last night i headed t my room and shwered and ralised my room overlooked a bar and that i had noisy Americans fr comany nex door, thank god i packed ear plugs, i set my alam for 6.40am and popped some sleeping aids and the next thing i knew it was 6.30am and no point lying till the alarm went off. I got ready fairly sharpish and was at the bus terminal before 7am, the express was suppose to turn up around 7.20am, while i was there i got chatting to Jules and Laura, both british girls and working for an NGO (charity/raliegh expeditin type thing), Jules was giving Laura a send off as aura is headig back to Wales, also the was a group of danish travelers waiting ... read more

So after catching up on emails etc yesterday i went for a walk around Florres it is so idyllic and i looked round the various souvenir shops for something to take home regarding my adventure in Central America, i saw a mayan print which when framed would be cool and would take like no space up in my rucksack so i may head back and get it tomorrow. I bumped into Eric and Constantine the german couple and they suggested lunch at a place called casa amelia and so i went there and a veggie pizza and it was quite nice and fairly cheap, as i got there Eric and Constantine and some other travelers were finishing up and so i chatted to them and then they went to get other things done. So trailing on from yesterday, me and Flo went to meet Martin at the main square and we went to grab a bite to eat and we went to La Roca Resturant and the was a party there with guys in cowboy hats and a band playing traditional instruments. I had a vegetalbe enchilada, Flo had a burger and fries and Martin had something that looked like shish kehab. We all had a beer and chatted for a while and then Martin said his goodbyes and me and Flo eaded back to the hotel and we chatted and watched Fight Club on Tv, eventually we turned in and half way through the night i woke up and noticed it was cold and i went to get the blanket in the room and Flo was using it.....doh. ... read more
