I used the esoteric characters in the heading to prove to you that I am in fact, in Mexico. We got here Saturday afternoon. It takes less time to fly to DF from LA than it does to fly to NYC, or Dubai for that matter. Oh, Canada... beautfiul scenery, friendly people, slightly different slang... I'ts an amazing place. We got in last Thursday.. when we got to the border... we were stopped by customs because we fit the profile of smugglers... (Nitsan was wearing his 'I Heart Smuggling' T-Shirt.) We left Bozeman yesterday afternoon en route to Missoula. On the way into downtown we saw that there were people eating food in the park. Hoping to acquire free food and that it wasn't a church-sanctioned event, we checked it out. "What's going on here?" "A downtown pride thing, but I bet if you brought a plate over here we'd give you some free ribs." I left Davis last Wednesday with my old school homeboy Nitsan. We are en route to Calgary, because I randomly applied to work at a music festival there. I'm not even that into folk music, but I will be serving beers to people that are. I will also be receiving a free t-shirt and several free meals. (At which point you respond: AWESOME!) I came back to these United States a week ago friday. I spent the week at home in Los Angeles. I watched a lot of that show, Lost. That's pretty much all I did, because LA is boring. On Friday was a huge demonstration marking thirty years since the start of the military dictatorship. Everybody walked the streets, young and old, anarchists, non-anarchists, former anarchists, socialists, street vendors peddling coca-cola´s to the thirsty moderate anarchists. So I was gonna take a bus to Lima, which is the equivalent of travelling by land from Atlanta to Los Angeles. I woke up and decided to cash in my bus ticket and buy a plane. When I realized I could not afford a plane, I settled for a flight on a commercial airliner. It cost a lot, but it saves seventy hours. So I´m still in Buenos Aires, and still loving it. Last night we went to the Sónar Festival, it´s a huge festival in Barcelona, but they through a big party last night as well. Diplo, who produced the MIA album performed... I also saw this French band called Colder, they sounded like Bloc Party and The Faint... like if those two bands got married and had kids, or if those two bands didn´t get married and still had a kid... the church wouldn´t really approve, but the illegit offspring would be so good at rocking out, that the church would have to give it´s blessing.
