Gorgeous Sunsets Hello Both,
You both look well in your pictures and very relaxed and happy, hope that this is the case.
Sounds like your travels are taking you to some lovely places again and meeting wonderful people.
I bet that you are excited about going to Tasmania - have a great time.
Lots of Love Allie & Kev xxx

Head for Heights Hi - another great set of photos! The first photo reminded me that Chris, Phil and Lorraine at the pub's son (Rose and Crown at Brailsford where they do wonderful food!) erects scaffolding on electric pylons - not a job for the faint hearted! xxx Mum K
The world wide treasure hunt! Hi Alec, Geocaching is a world wide treasure hunt.
'All' you need is a GPS and a nose for adventure - the adventure bit you definitely already have!
The basics are you log on to the www.geocaching.com website and look for caches (containers with 'treasure' in them) that are hidden nearby to you or within a reasonable distance if you're looking for a ride out somewhere. It's like orienteering I guess and it's not all about treasure but it gets you out and about in the great outdoors. There's lots and lots in your neck of the woods!! It's done using GPS co-ordinates, you load them in and then the GPS sends you off in the direction of the treasure. Great fun for adults and for kids!! Let us know if you give it a go!
Sar and Dar
Keeping in Touch Thanks Grant and Anna for giving Sarah and Darryl the chance to ring both sets of Mums and Dads - it was great to chat and catch up on the latest news. xxx Jan K
Are you sure you're in OZ, I've got pictures of me and the kids like that only I'm fairly sure it's Brean sands in the background!!! Nice snapper!! I find mashing vegetables and putting them in a spag bol usually works, well with Mark anyway but don't tell him!
Lots of love

How Blue is that water Hello,
How Blue is that water, it is amazing, I bet it looked even more wonderful to the naked eye.
It sounds like you are both still having a great time, your blogs a brilliant and fill me with wonder as to all the places that you have seen. What fantastic memories.
Making me wish I could visit them too (instead I get to validate TRN environment!).
Take care both, lots of love

Don't stop the blogs!! Hi - please carry on with the blogs!! We know that it takes a huge amount of time to write and check the blogs (if you email them to me I'll check them) but we really love reading them as we feel we are almost travelling with you. Just short ones sometimes would still be most welcome. It's remarkable that you always find such interesting things to write about. xxx Mum & Dad K
The bluest of blue lakes The Blue Lake is stunning, isn't it? We stayed in the campsite just over the back from where all the signs are. There were a couple of smaller lakes and an interesting nature reserve there I seem to remember. xxx Mum K
The Hardy's Hi to Maggie, Brian, Donna and little Jackson! You all look great and just the same as all those years ago - Aus must really agree with you (and why wouldn't it!). Jan K
Victor Harbour Victor Harbour is a lovely place but we have a special memory of being on the horse drawn carriage in the pouring rain with it blowing a gale! xxx Mum K
Only the good bits!! Those darn jelly fish, that was so wierd! I must have blocked them out when I was writing the blog. Can't wait to Geocache with you when we visit that will be a hoot!
We've done plenty of digging your dunny - the night we left you funnily enough - but it's all good. We've got a tent with us, I can see a weekend trip coming on when we head in your direction. You can have the caravan and we'll hop in the tent.....
See you soon and could luck with the rest of Jackson's teeth!! x x
Live to ride Hi Alec, great to hear from you. We loved seeing the run off that morning, quite envious we were. We took lots of photos of the bikes but they weren't very good, the sun was so strong that morning. I've put a couple more on though and we've got lots for our memories - I never throw anything away!!
Darryl and Sarah
Welcome, come in, take a seat and enjoy the view!
We were lucky enough to be in a position to make one of our dreams come true and it's hard to believe that we can now say we've 'been there and done that! It was the sort of adventure that 'normal people' like us could only dream about, taking a year out of work and travelling around Australia in a caravan towed by a 4WD. Somehow though we managed to turn it into a reality and between April 28th 2009 and April 26th 2010 that's exactly what we did.
Our beautiful home and much loved cat in Moira, Derbyshire, UK were looked after by fami... full info
