Darryl scaring the girls again?
your Xmas Day location looks perfect, even if you are terrifying the wildlife!! Mum & Dad send their love, along with the rest of the Tewkesbury mob. We may even manage to get Mum "online" so she can post her own comment & read about how you guys are doing... then again you're not away for that much longer!!! Old dog & new tricks, you know what I mean. We'll be thinking of you both when we're on our millionth game of pictureka or being beaten yet again by a 7 year old on the Wii. As you can imagine Simon's not taken his defeat very well... Have a fab Xmas lots of love to you both C, S, Mum & Dad & the Browns xxxxxxxx

Brass Monkeys
Hi Both,Have just finished reading your last few blogs. Some how I got the impression that it's been just a bit hot down under, don't know if that was from the curry or the weather, or maybe both.Well if it's hot where you are - it's Brass Monkeys where I am in Windy Weston.I have been out shopping today (didn't spend a lot though you know me) and the temp gauge on the car did not get above 2 degs. Outside with the wind chill it must have been freezing or below. More of the same to come they say over the next week so whilst you are all shorts and bikinis we are all long johns and fleeces.Have a great Christmas and always remember to look out for each other.RegardsSnowman of Somerset

Nullarbor
Don't forget to drop in and the tourist office, at either end of the Nullarbor, and get your 'certificate' for crossing the Nullarbor. I think we got ours at Ceduna. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you. Enjoy your travels, I know I am enjoying your adventure.

It's stunning
Cape le Grand is just divine, Lucky Bay is absolutely stunning and we were so tempted to stay there for Christmas. It's got a really good camp kitchen and with the showers and flush toilets you don't feel like you're in a National Park at all. Shame we didn't have longer there really, it's one of those places you could spend a month easily and not run out of things to do or see.x x x

Missed you by a day!
Hi Bill! We were fishing just in front of that hotel last week. We left on Monday morning first thing before we saw your message. What a shame, we can't believe it! As I'm typing this we're just coming out of Cape le Grand near Esperance and then we're heading onto the Nullabour. We'll be in touch and we hope you enjoy Scarborough, the sun was shining when we left!! Lots of love from both of us x x

Party on in Mansfield
Hi Bernie! We can't wait to get to Mansfield, we'll never want to leave!!! They are all as crazy as ever and we had a great time with them last night in their apartment. Great fun and Santa paid us a visit too! Can't wait to right that blog! Great that you're enjoying the blog, we've had a great time travelling but are relishing every second til we fly home in April. But we'll definately be partying hard in Mansfield before that happens! See you soon Dar and Sar

Local wisdom is the best
Hi Jean, Great to hear from you. Yes we sure are fans of local guides, local knowledge and local wisdom. It's so natural when it's like that and the people are so passionate, Helen is a great excample. All the best Dar and Sar

The Reeves are all well
Hi JJ, We caught up with the Reeves again last night, might be a little while before we see them again now but hopefully not too long! They are good value aren't they, what a laugh we've been having! Carty has been doing a remarkable 'one handed' job at fishing - the other hand as you've rightly said usually has a beer in it! They've been living it up staying in an apartment (traitors!) rather than the camp trailer for the last week but even so I reckon they'll miss life on the road, we all will. Great to hear from you and I'll pass on your best to the rabble. See you when we get to Mansfield! Dar and Sar
