Silves, Portugal

Spent the morning walking around Silves. We were the first tourists inside the castle and had it all to ourselves for most of our walk around. There was not much to the castle, but the views were nice. After viewing the castle we walked through town a bit. A very pretty little village. They had a big medieval festival going on in town. In some of the pictures you see green banners. They are representative of that festival.

Inside the church, they were preparing for prayer services, so we didn't spend too much time there. We felt we were intruding.
