On the road first thing to get to Legoland. The parking lot was probably about a kilometre from the entrance and there were a lot of people - an understatement. The formal Lego village was great! Amazing buildings and lots of moving trains, cars, boats, etc. Legoland also has an amusement park with lots of rides - very much like a small Disneyland - very busy!
Next stop was our apartment rental in Aarhus. It is a very pleasant apartment - unfortunately on the fourth floor! It is close to downtown and the owner arranged for a parking permit because the parking is restricted. The owner is an architect who has also been involved in the design of one of the Lego series. We walked a bit in the neighbourhood including down to the beach which is on the east coast of Denmark.
