Don't you just love bees ? Little furry creatures ... Went out to the farm to get some bamboo to make a frame for our squash which are flourishing. Picked up a length off the floor and thought that someone had driven a nail into the palm of my hand. Dropping the bamboo I notice a few large holes have been made in the side of the bamboo and each is housing a rather large bee. For some reason this one had taken offence at me stealing his/her - had to be a female really ! - and let me have it with both barrels. I am slightly relived that it was only a bee and not a scorpion and will be more careful in future.
Hands swells up a bit and is very painful for the remainder of the day.

Felt a bit of a prick then !! That's going to hurt ! Watch out for snakes !! Saw a few snakes when I was with Sangwan.
