We keep going into Raffles City and come out at different entrances we have not seen, which can be blocks away. The underground is a hive of everything you can think off, just extraordinary.
Bought a pass for three days on Hippo Tours which travel the city and we can hop on and off when ever we want. Sunday in Orchard Road was crowded with the Domestic workers who have the Sunday off, so will check that one out another time.
Hopped off at the Botanical Gardens, needing more water before exploring, Mick's feet had felt sore and while he waited for me to get the bottles of water took his shoes off and has 4 big blisters two on each foot so back to the Hotel on the next bus that turned up in 10 minutes. Had a swim and then went to Raffles City Centre to find a pharmacy and thongs, found the pharmacy and bought benadine and bandages for him to put on his feet. Where lucky tonight at the pool it was buy one get one free so it only cost $17.25 for one small beer! They would not have
Mick and Camels
Thought of you Trevor, he was pretty excited and this is the entrance to the Aquarium. any alcoholics in this place unless they are millionaires. The drive around from the Botanical Gardens took us past millionaires row where the bungalows are worth $6,000,000.00! Hate to think what they would call our place!

Off to Sentosa after breakfast at Raffles City, big day but quite an experience and anywhere we wanted to go you just took the Sky Train to each station on the loop. First thing we did was go to the Aquarium the man selling tickets asked my age and the cost was cut by half for the two of us, on a Senior 1 Day pass, saved $54. The Aquarium was amazing and from the time you entered, it was wonderful with displays from all Asian Countries as you walked, we were in awe of the huge room of glass then moved into another room where picture windows showed and the roof also had Fish of all sorts including mantra's, all within the same tank as the large window. Usual glass tunnels but that area was awesome.
Then we caught the Sky Rail and a Bus to Fort Siloso Singapore's only reserved coastal Fort, developed and strengthened in 1890's and 1930's. In 1942
the guns of Fort Siloso took part in the battle for Singapore. During the Japeneses Occupation the fort was used as a camp for prisoners of war.
Off then after a lot of walking to a place back at the Waterfront called Slappy where we ordered what we wanted for Pancakes and cooked them on a hot plate on the table. Chocolate and Peanut Batter (Nutella) with Strawberries and a Mango Tea for me with Mick having a Strawberry Smoothie. very nice, very different and two girls beside us were making all sorts of things out of theirs and taking photo's.
Time for me to see the Butterfly park and Insect Kingdom enclosure, Mick sat outside waiting for me. Amazing loved the Butterflies and the Insect display was pretty good. Came out in a gift shop, and an Action area where people were waiting their turn for different experiences which Mick and I were not interested in.
Could not find Mick for at least 15 minutes and the place was getting really busy so time to connect with our bus back to the Hotel. Legs are really sore and Mick has managed really well but still has not taken off
Around the Corner
Still part of the wall of glass his shoes and socks so we will see, it is now 6.40pm.
