Relaxing Day

Amazing day we had a hair cut each, Mick went back to the Hotel for a rest and I had a manicure and pedicure at 10am back to the Hotel at 12pm.

Thankyou Natalee my god the dentist worked a miracle after 2 hrs but very gentle, fillings he did that when he showed me I could not believe, I offered to bring him back to Australia, no injections, so gentle wow, cleaning soooo good rapt. Mick will have his turn tomorrow and we booked the same Tuk Tuk driver as we were walking to the Irish Bar, he was not to bad, yeh had a few beers then back to the Hotel.

Up early and after breakfast headed to the old city to see the dentist again. Mick went in and had two fillings plus the dentist tried to clean and too much work needs to be done on his teeth. We need to come back and he will build up the lower teeth plus put in a top denture for 6000 BHT ( $226 ) the lot and we will need to stay for three weeks to get it finished.
He completed the work on my teeth with taking out a metal filling and did 7 fillings, clean, polished and evened out fixing chips etc. 5400 BHT ($203.43). Has made a huge difference I was quoted $1250.00 at Yarram for 7 fillings only!
Both very happy and will email the dentist two months before we come back so that he can plan how to do the work for Mick. Recommend this guy very professional.
We had lunch at the little cafe we found yesterday and came back to the hotel for a nap.

Big problem I have $800 that needs to be spent by the end of 30th March, on my salary sacrifice ( forgot to bring the rates account number! Bugger). Paid the dentist, bought shoes, paid for three pairs of jeans to be made for Mick, bought a Action Camera I am hoping Phoebe can sort out how to use and still could not spend it all but hell it has been fun. Where I bought the shoes I have a voucher 250 BHT so will go back tomorrow our last day. This has been so good we have both had a ball and even learned to speak some Thai.

Tonight at the Bazaar Mick bought his bus captain a hat he is going to ask her to wear, I doubt she will so he will wear it.

These little kitchens are cooking fresh all the time, so we both had two bowls of pork soup, vegetables with pork dumplings and rice noodles, a good meal with a large glass of iced coffee. 180 BHT ( $6.78)

Hi Ann,We leave tomorrow April Fools day! Unfortunately all good things have to end but will be planning the next trip in the near future, will be great to get Mick fixed up with teeth again and the Dentist was really concerned for him and
he has agreed to get it done which is surprising after all this time.LoveMarie and Mick
