Given our last two mornings were bereft of windows, we awoke to confusion this morning. The amount of light made me fearful we had over slept, only for me to check the time to find it 5.30am. As if we werent spoiled enough with last nights BBQ dinner, we were treated to a breakfast of kings this morning. Bacon, eggs, tomatoes, beans and mushrooms. With that polished off, we packed our things and printed our train tickets for the day. Todays itineray involved a south bound train from Waterloo Tube station, to Bournemouth. My grandad was lodging here with his neice Janice (Kates sister) and her husband Owen.We arrived at Bournemouth Station around 2.30pm. The trip cost 20£ each, and took about two hours. Owen and grandad picked us up for a 10 minute drive. Janice and Owen have a lovely country home and garden centre attached. Grandad took us for a stroll through the garden centre and a coffee. We spent the evening at the Sports club down the road for a cheap meal and pint, watching the Sunderland vs Stoke City match. I ordered bangers and mash, and followed up with a chip putty sandwich. cost under 5£. The match was a bore but Grandad was relieved to see Sunderland snatch a point. We headed home around 10, poor Nat brutally stubbing her toe on a hidden speedbump. We turned in soon thereafter a comfy bed awaiting our attention.
