Hey hey crazy kids,

So where was I....ahhhh yes...Cork......

Cold... thats the first thing I can tell you......

First night in Cork just took it easy went out for a quick meal and a couple of pints...then stopped on the way back to hostel...(in which we were sharing a 8 bed room with a bucketload of frenchies!!!)...stopped at a 24hr..arcade/lazer game/ 10 pin bowling alley......you know how I hate that stuff........finished bowling at about 1 am...back to the hostel...where assman woke the frenchies up with his snoring...funny stuff!!

Next day took the 10 minute drive out to Blarney Castle...home of the famous Blarney Stone, which legend has it, if you kiss you are gifted with the power of eloquence (or gobshite/bullshit if you like) and as I am in need of being able to bullshit just a little more...i thought it was worth the trip....

Pretty impressive place.. had a good look round the grounds as well.... stumbled into a little wooded area named the "witches kitchen" which did look a bit funky...natrual stone ring with a little chimney/kitchen built into the rock.....

From there drove around the Ring of Kerry...which is basically a sceninc drive around some beautiful coastline....

Left the next morning to go back to Dublin, after some typical pete/assman dithering.....got into dublin about 2....went straight to Trinity Colege to view the Book of Kells...and had a look at the part of their library where they store 200 000 of their oldest books...just a massive high hall...lined with leather clad books as far as you could see.....there were some in glass cases or viewing...like a copy of Grimms tales fom the 1800's...early edition of Gullivers Travels etc....really very cool...

Left there and rushed in a taxi to the Guinness visitor centre...was pretty good... not as good as the Heineken tour..but still quite good.... the area where you cash in to get your free pint is the highest building in Dublin (apparently) with 360 degree views of the city and we finally had some sunny weather to appreciate it

Went out that night to a Stand up comdedy open mic night....funny funny shit as you can imagine...irish people aren't very funny are they?!?!

Back to the same club we went to on our first night... again alright but nothing super....some girls all P.I.M.Ped up though was a highlight
Kissing the bullshit...sorry..Blarney StoneKissing the bullshit...sorry..Blarney StoneKissing the bullshit...sorry..Blarney Stone

Did I mention you have hang upside down thru a hole in the top of the castle, hanging on for dear life while old mate grabs you to make sure you don't fall?

2 hours sleep...up to drop the car off at the airport...run to check in...to find out we were 15 minutes late..missed the flight!!! FFFAAARRKKK!

The boys had to catch connecting flights to Spain, so they had to buy whole new tickets... rushed farewell to them..then I waited for 5 hours for my flight back to London.....

Staying here for a few days now...gong to see my dads sister Chris tomorrow...staying with Dan Oldknow tomorrow night and probably the weekend(although I have a party to go to Saturday night with some of the Contiki kids)...before flying out to Mexico Monday...

So until its buenos dios amigos......

Its

Chopper out

Ain't Dublin grand
Good to see the Monty mania show just keeps rollin' on. And the chicks keep on posing (no doubt the new found Blarney charm has won a few round, eh?) I dread to hear how much BS rolls off the tongue now mate... And I take it there'll be a few pints of the black stuff to be consumed upon the return to OZ.
