For the first time this trip we caught the underground. It was just like any other underground train just not as hi-tech. We bought our tickets and Nana and Pa got theirs from the counter as they're seniors so get them half price but then they told us to go to the station after Chatachuk Park because it leads straight into the Chatachuk Market but by this stage mum and I had already got our token for Chatachuk Park anyway a man showed us the way to the station and waited with us until we were on the train which was nice of him.
When we got off the train we went to walk out but as our tokens weren't for this station we couldn't get out, so we waited for the man which took a long time because he was changing notes for coins for some other people so they could buy tickets. When he came over to us he said something but it's very hard to understand with his accent and the glass in between us. Probably 10 minutes later we walked from the station after going back and forth from him and the thing where you
put your tickets.
The market, the market, the market. Wow! That's all I can say. It was absolutely massive and you could buy whatever you wanted, clothes, jewellery, bags, cutlery, scrapbooking supplies... It was very very crowded and very hot. The hottest Nana's thermometer got to was 37 degrees but it felt like a lot more when you're trying to walk down the smallest paths with a million other people, stuff all around and then a guy screaming 'move' in Thai that was coming through with a big trolley that barely fit down the aisle. Although there was so much we didn't buy much, a little Tuk Tuk made out of a coke can, 2 bottles of orange juice, 4 sunglasses one for mum and 3 for dad and his mate and a handbag for me and a handbag for mum. There were heaps and heaps of tops with slogans but some need pictures and others are too rude. But my personal favourite "I want. I cry. I get" Remind you of anybody?
We then caught the Sky rail back to Siam Paragon to get my glasses. Yes we decided to get them. They are silver at the front and white
on the sides - oh and D&G, yes real. The only D&G thing I'll own in my life. We had to wait an hour for them to put the glass bits in so we went down and got Maccas for lunch. Here they have extra large, and they definitely are. We have the measurements but mum left them in the hotel room so I'll put them up tomorrow, we then went back and got my glasses and I haven't stopped smiling since.
The swimming pool was the next thing on our list, but we quickly stopped off at the internet place first. Every time we've been to the pool we've been alone but not this time. We were the first there but by the time we left the pool was full and there were certainly no more chairs.
We had our last Bangkok dinner at Tops and I had the Hong Kong Fried Rice again followed by a strawberry frappe and now I'm here, on the lounge of the internet place writing this. Our next travelpod will be from Kanchanaburi, hopefully. If we can find internet. Wish us luck.
Measurements for the drink cup is 18.5 cm high (6.5cm at the

The chips box was 16cm high – Australian's large chip box is 13cm high

You have certainly seen a lot of Bangkok in those few days.
