How wrong were we! We thought we'd finish off with a few hours in the city before jetting off home. We got up as usual. Had some breakfast and vacated our stateroom (cabin to you & me). After waiting for an hour in the upper deck we then went to the terminal to find our bags and transfer to the Sheraton. We eventually got to the hotel and after a bit of messing around had just 2 hours before the transfer to the airport at 14:00. When we got there we queued for a couple of hours before being told the flight had a technical fault and that we were delayed. They would call us when they had any info. We were shipped off to a very tatty hotel back in the city. This took us to about 17:30. None of the staff spoke English so it was difficult trying to communicate about pretty much anything and there was no sign of Celebrity or Air France. Dinner consisted of a pretty nasty pizza or empanadas that they picked up from the takeaway next door and a bottle of Coke. This was a far cry from the luxury package that Celebrity had booked for us. We ended up calling our agent in the uk to get some advice (Travel Counsellors) and see if she could get any info. It took this call to the uk agent to find that we'd been booked onto tomorrow's flight.
